I did a strange thing earlier – I typed the wrong number in to find who I just missed the call from.
I dialled 1741 instead of 1471 – I didn’t know you could find your own telephone number out – it was quite odd.

In general I try to keep my home tidy and clean and once a week I try to blitz the place and get everything nice and tidy to a state I’d call normal and in general I’ve kept to it.
Spring Cleaning time… Its taken a few days to do it properly. All windows cleaned, Curtains washed, all skirting boards washed down, floors, cuboards cleaned out, oven cleaned and even washing the hoover/filters etc.
Its not something I mind doing, althou my organisation is awful at times it does feel good when its all sorted.
How often do people usually clean/clear things.. Is it different because I don’t have a family living with me?
I don’t know – I was always brought up with keeping things tidy and clean.. I’ve learned from talking
with others not everyone got this type of guidance but I am glad I was as its a nice place to live in 🙂
Time for a random Smoothy receipe that when I made it earlier was so tasty and even after leaving didn’t seperate – kept nice and smooth in the fridge.
2 x Bananas
400g Strawberries
150g Blackberries
2 tsp Cacao Nibs
3 tsp Goji Berries
Fruit juice to cover fruit in blender.
Blitz the lot, pour and Enjoy!
This coming week is the easter weekend.. A few days off work and a celebration of a death to life transformation.
I am unlikely to be updating these pages for the next week as will be away to Spring Harvest to help with stewarding and don’t think i’ll have an internet connection.
IF I get a connection, then I’ll try and update the site with what is happening and what i’m up too.
I think its going to be a fun time, but a lot of hard work and energy used up. I’m really looking forward to it and hoping I have packed everything I need.
Feeling so free after a good night out. Enjoying the speed and energy of the dance while sat back in quite comfy if compact seating.
I went to watch Riverdance, in Sunderland Empire on Monday night, a friend went with me. It rained on the way there which was unexpected as was so warm where we came from so we were cold and wet when we got there but so was so many others too.
I’ve heard reviews of Riverdance before and seen bits on TV but it was so much better in action in front of us. The seating looked like it was going to be bad but we had leg room and could see everything so it was good.
I’ve fancied seeing it for a while but like most things – didn’t as no-one else seemed to want to go but decided I was going – just to see if I liked it.
The dancing was amazing, along with excellent music played. The movements so quick and in time with one another. It was ocasionally like watching a branch wave in the wind and fall in place, moving in a motion but being itself at the same time.
I really enjoyed it – there was a few dances I didn’t entertain and my mind wandered but was suprised to find it half way so quickly – but it wasn’t that quick – I was just enjoying it.
I’ve never went to a theater to watch a dance before but will definitly go again. Its something I thought older people 40s+ went too – more younger people should try – its an amazing time.
I feel really happy, and can still hear the music playing and see the movement and tapping of feet. If you have the chance to see it live, I’d suggest to go for it.
I’m now wondering where and what else I can see or be involved in. A time of change – I can hope.
How do I get people to know about something new. I know I can share on here but how many people actually read this? I’m not sure.
I’ve had friends ask me of ways to promote things to help raise money for themselves or charity and i’ve came up with a list to start with.
If you have other ideas, please post comments and say them. We can help each other promote 🙂
The list/ideas I have:
• Make posters, postcards etc and put them out in places like fast food shops that may put stuff up for free, or put in windows.
• Build a website, a set of pages about what you want to promote and promote the site…
i) Submit to search engines
http://www.google.com/addurl
Type: Site submitter into google and fill in your site URL. Never Pay, the free ones do the same but occasionally show you adverts while it submits.
ii) Comment on peoples Blogs that relate to your cause and create a link to your site.
iii) Start a blog, and advertise on people who post comments.
iv) Exchange website links with other sites.. as in you put theirs up and they put up yours.
v) Add to your signature your website link and name.
i.e. On Forums, Email, back of envelopes when sending away
vi) Use Social sites to promote your site like Bebo, Facebook, MySpace and send your links out on your profiles.
• Make up a business card and get it made up. Vistaprint offers free business cards [free except p&p]
• Write an article about your cause and send it to newspapers, websites – include your website in the article.
Just a small selection of possable helpful hints.

I get on with my neighbours. Its nice, I’ve never had any issues and no complaints either. People seem to know each other and althou I’m not particularly close with any of them I do feel a part of the community.
My neighbours to one side are selling up and I’ll be getting new ones. It will be the first new ones I’ve had to “get used too” as before this I was the new one.
I’m wondering what it will be like. Will I get on with them? Will I like them… will they like me? Lots of questions, time will tell.
Apples – used for so many things, sometimes as food, sometimes an icon or logo or even a place. Why exactly… I don’t know but its known across the planet.
I’ve came to realise that its a great little thing the apple. Something i’ve never really took the time to enjoy – a snack and yet a mini meal at the same time.
I’ve been trying to replace my snacks at work from sweeties to something a little healthier – I’ve taken on fruit to try it for a bit. I don’t seem to be having those sugar dips mid afternoon anymore since changing. Maybe I had too much sugar before. I know fruit has sugar in it too.
Its been a while since I did trampolining or at least it feels like a while… Its been at least 3 weeks since I’ve last been and it was very enjoyable.
Today I tried contact lenses again.. Tried them last week but it didn’t really help… got new set ordered in and tried them today…
Took me about a minute to get the first one in and about 25 minutes to get the second one in – Cleared up so I could see right in about another 20 minutes and then I could see more… Out in the side of my eye things were there again where they wern’t before (or were but kinda just a coloured blur)
I went bouncing (trampolining) that was my test… and it felt easier… more co-ordinated. I could see and wasn’t worried if I was to break the glasses or land and damage myself – I can now go for it and see what I can do.
I’ve started with about 4 hours usage and my eyes felt fine but a little adjitated coming up 4 hours but afterwards seem to have calmed quick and feel OK.
Last time I tried contacts I remember sore eyes for about a week… This time its not hurting so a good sign in my opinion.
I can remember when younger that you should have 3 to 4 meals a day to be “healthy” – Breakfast, lunch, dinner and possable supper… I like to be closer to 5 meals a day.
Since re-starting the 5 to 6 small meals a day aproach. I feel a lot more energetic and seem to metabolise more food. Tends to be more a spread out way of doing it but works well.
I try to always have breakfast (around 8am), Morning snack – Fruit usually (around 11am), lunch between 1 and 2pm, mid afternoon snack round 4, dinner around 6 to 7pm and snacks if out again.
I’ve realised that it sounds like a lot but instead of big portions I’m having lots of little ones. I think it gives the body time to metabolise what it needs at the time.
My overall view is its not the best idea for 3 to 4 big meals but to spread it out into smaller meals. seems to work for me.
